First, thank you so much for ordering a set! I'm so happy you love the actual hook.
Unfortunately with this first batch of cases, there was a bit of an odor residual from manufacturing. We did what we could to mitigate that and have since worked to remedy it as they are being made. The next batch is much better! I am happy to exchange the set for you when those new sets are assembled and ready to go. The team in TX is getting them finished as soon as possible. If you want to exchange them, please shoot me an email and we'll work out the details and shipping labels, etc.
